We all are suffering because of high pollution, high traffic and long driving hours but none of us has any solution for this. Each car on average, if driven for 20,000 KM/year , consumes 2000 Liter's petrol which in turns creates 5000 Kg CO2 ( 2.5 kg per liter) . A very good mature tree can absorb 4.5-5 Kg CO2 every year. Thus we need more than 1000 tree to absorb pollution created by each car. Are we growing enough trees for trillions of cars in millions of cities of India? Do we know how many trees are required to absorb pollution created by these trillions of cars? Who will absorb this pollution? Do we have some responsibility? Can we do something? If a single person pool his car, he actually reduces 4 cars from the roads, reducing 20,000 Kg CO2 and reducing efforts of 4000 trees which could have been required to clean air if not pooled. The biggest problem in car pooling is security which has been taken care of in this website. This website provides a Employee Code verification Process for secure pool.
